Arlene, known by many as “Ar,” lived graciously and courageously with Ovarian Cancer until the very end and passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was married for 53 years to Robert Rob. Ar’s lifelong love for knitting, led her to the Knitting Grandma’s group for Maple Grove Hospital, where she made over 3, baby hats.
Ar will be remembered for her tacos and Swedish pancakes. She enjoyed the waters of the North and South and had a gift for making friends everywhere she was blessed to travel. Special thanks to all of those at Park Nicollet Oncology who went beyond to make her feel safe and loved. Her life will be celebrated at a private family gathering.
